    we will be visiting from Canada in June and have family from your village
    William Johnston and family lived in in your area in the 1850 to 1880s
    They had property on Sidney St and in Pound Hill

    hello, I am interested in researching a family relative , Joe Cassidy who was originally from Co. Clare but lived for many years in Aughnacloy , his house was the very first house on the hill beside the new garage at the bottom of the town opposite the old Alms House, I think he was also the postman in the town, I would be grateful if anyone could provide any information about Joe and even better if a photograph was available anywhere , possibly in his role as postman, thanking you,

    I will be Aughnacloy area May 20-24 2015. Do you have a contact so I may get in touch with the Society.
    I am looking for Cobean,Cobene, Cobain family contacts. I know Cobeans lived on Skey Rd. in Skey Townland.circa 1795-1810,,then some of the family moved to Canada in 1808. I wish to visit the Presbyterian church ,could you provide a contact for the Minister,ie e-mail ,phone number?

    Is there a contact number for the Historical Society? I am gather some information about my family history. I will be traveling to the area in late June of this year and hope to meet with someone and look through any records that might be available. Thank you in advance.
